Product documentation and practical transparency.

Things to check

  • The manufacturer provides a quantitative four-capsule panel, pack supply and the amounts of both additional active ingredients. The quality claims remain manufacturer-reported, and suitability of the additions is separate from label completeness.
  • Label instructions do not establish individual suitability or guaranteed results.
How we evaluate these products

This is a desk-research review of published labels, manufacturer information and dated retailer checks. Scientific sources provide context for ingredients; they do not establish that the reviewed brand has been clinically tested.

  • Ingredient amounts, formulation and evidence limits
  • Labelled instructions and serving burden
  • Third-party testing and certifications
  • Price per day (with the check date shown)
  • Information for the named market and pack
  • Published cautions and questions to discuss with a clinician

Our assessment covers the clarity of the label, serving burden, documented quality information and dated cost. We have not independently lab-tested these products or established comparative clinical effectiveness.

The defining difference is the added ashwagandha and vitamin D, not simply a 40:1 inositol ratio. Compare the whole formula before deciding whether it fits your needs. This is a review of public documentation, not a hands-on test or clinical endorsement.

Which formula and serving does this review cover?

The manufacturer's original 120-capsule product lists, per four capsules: 2,000 mg myo-inositol, 50 mg D-chiro-inositol, 500 mg ashwagandha root and 90 mcg vitamin D3. Other ingredients are hypromellose and rice flour.

Directions specify four capsules daily with a meal, with a two-capsule twice-daily option for stomach sensitivity. The bottle supplies 30 labelled days. This review does not cover the separate Inositol + Folate formula.

Ashwagandha changes the safety discussion

NCCIH advises avoiding ashwagandha during pregnancy and not using it while breastfeeding. It also cautions about thyroid or autoimmune disorders, surgery and interactions with medicines including thyroid hormones, sedatives and diabetes medicines. Rare liver injury has been linked to ashwagandha supplements, and long-term safety remains uncertain.

These are ingredient-level precautions, not proof that this exact product caused those effects. They do mean that a plain-inositol safety statement cannot establish suitability of this combination. If trying to conceive, review the herb with your clinician before choosing this formula; fertility marketing does not resolve that question.

Count the vitamin D from every source

The labelled 90 mcg equals 3,600 IU. NIH ODS lists an adult upper intake limit of 100 mcg (4,000 IU) daily, including all sources; clinician-directed treatment can differ. This limit is not an intake target or a guarantee of individual safety.

For example, adding a separate 1,000 IU supplement would bring the supplement total to 4,600 IU before food. Check prenatals and multivitamins as well, and discuss the total with your clinician rather than assuming more vitamin D is better.

Dated price and buying conditions

The US single-bottle one-time price checked October 12, 2026 was $26.99: $26.99 divided by 30 labelled days is approximately $0.90/day. Delivery, tax, subscriptions and discounts are excluded. The product page advertises free shipping above $44; one bottle does not meet that threshold. Confirm destination eligibility and the checkout total.

The direct-store return policy applies to US orders within 30 days of purchase. Unopened products qualify for return, with return postage paid by the customer. Opened supplements cannot be returned, but the policy says support will arrange a refund when supplied with the lot number. Contact support for the process. Do not assume these terms apply to a purchase from another seller.

Quality claims and comparison criteria

The manufacturer describes US GMP manufacturing. We have not established a current independent finished-product certificate for this formula; facility standards are a different claim. Neither a facility claim nor a familiar ratio demonstrates that the complete formula works better than an alternative.

A useful comparison asks whether you want the added ingredients, can follow the capsule routine and accept the final pack cost. If you are looking only for inositol, compare a formula without the herb and vitamin D. See Wholesome Story versus Intimate Rose and the research library.

How this review was checked

We checked the product panel, variant price and return policy against the manufacturer, and safety context against NCCIH and NIH ODS. These sources serve different purposes: a commercial label establishes what is declared, not clinical efficacy. We have not tested the capsules or verified a specific Amazon offer. FAQ

What is the practical difference with this product?

The manufacturer’s four-capsule serving lists 2,000 mg myo-inositol, 50 mg D-chiro-inositol, 500 mg ashwagandha root and 90 mcg vitamin D3. A 120-capsule bottle supplies 30 servings. The vitamin D quantity is 3,600 IU, so include it when reviewing total intake from other products.

What does the editorial assessment measure?

The manufacturer provides a quantitative four-capsule panel, pack supply and the amounts of both additional active ingredients. The quality claims remain manufacturer-reported, and suitability of the additions is separate from label completeness. It is not a consumer average or a measure of clinical efficacy.

What should I check before choosing it?

Compare Intimate Rose only if you deliberately want the additional ingredients after checking suitability. If your aim is simply to compare inositol, a product without the herb and extra vitamin D is a more direct label comparison.

Is this ashwagandha formula suitable during pregnancy?

NCCIH advises avoiding ashwagandha during pregnancy and not using it while breastfeeding. Do not treat this formula as plain inositol. Discuss alternatives with your clinician; the separate Inositol + Folate product is outside this review.

How much vitamin D does a serving contain?

Four capsules list 90 mcg, or 3,600 IU. Count other supplements and food against the adult upper intake limit of 4,000 IU daily unless your clinician directs otherwise. That limit is not a recommended target.
